Method
- Measure out 1 cup of you favorite gluten free baking flour blend. Remove 2 TBSP of flour from the cup you just measured.
- Add 2 TBSP of gluten free corn starch to the flour.
- Sift the flour and corn starch though a flour sifter, twice.
- Measure the sifted flour into your recipe. You may have more cake flour compared to when you first measured due to the added air during sifting.
Notes
- If you have other bakers in your kitchen that use any flours containing gluten, be sure to get your self your own flour sifter. You can store it in a small container or even a plastic sealed bag. Label it and make a PSA so everyone knows not to cross contaminate you sifter.
